Digital Curriculum Mapping For Secondary Education

The British Council will attend Fatih Project Innovations and Education Technologies Summit 2015 to be held on 5 December 2015 in Ankara by the General Directorate of Innovations and Education Technologies of the Ministry of National Education.

The summit aims at contributing to the Fatih Project by highlighting the recent trends and practices in educational technology in the context of Turkish national education. Thereby, it will bring academicians, decision makers, experts in education and technology, teachers, learners and/or students, representatives of civil society and technology suppliers together. It will establish a platform to discuss practical and theorical information and issues The presentations will introduce good practices and their pedagogical implications. This important summit will provide the opportunity to see the developments and progress in educational technologies in the Fatih Project. 

At the summit, Ayşen Güven, Head of English of the British Council and Assist Prof. Dr. Derya Bozdoğan from TED University will give a presentation on the Digital Curriculum Mapping For Secondary Education. The presention will outline the process and the outcome of the the curriculum mapping project of British Council LearnEnglish resources for grades 9-12 so that both students and teachers can use digital sources more effectively and in line with the Turkish National curriculum.
