Cultural Skills Research
Cultural Skills has a dedicated team that carry out research in regions and use the findings to shape our work. To understand the unique demands in different countries, Cultural Skills team provides distinct research by using tailored programmes and resources. The research considering Turkey was undertaken by the Cultural Skills team in 2016 and a freelance researcher Rumeysa Kiger was commissioned to work with British Council Arts team in Turkey to complete the report of the research which explores the skills gaps, shortages and opportunities across the cultural sector in Turkey.
